Ingredients
- 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated tortellini (cheese, spinach, or meat-filled)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
- Optional: Pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Prep Tortellini: Gently separate any stuck-together tortellini and place them in a medium bowl.
- Season: Drizzle tortellini with olive oil. Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss thoroughly until all tortellini are evenly coated.
- Load Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) if it has a preheat function. Arrange seasoned tortellini in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- First Fry: Air fry for 5-7 minutes.
- Shake & Re-Fry: Pull out the basket, give it a good shake to redistribute, and continue air frying for another 3-5 minutes, or until tortellini are deeply golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: For extra cheesiness, sprinkle a little more Parmesan during the last minute of cooking. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
