Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix, instant pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil. Beat on low until combined, then on medium for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
