  • 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup (110g) Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Sour Cream, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups (about 34 medium) Very Ripe Mashed Bananas
  • Optional: 1 cup Chocolate Chips or Chopped Nuts

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare Oven & Pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • 2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • 3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • 4. Mix Batter: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in mashed bananas and any optional add-ins. Do not overmix.
