Whip up a batch of these delightful, bite-sized chocolate chip cookies. They’re perfectly chewy, sweet, and incredibly easy to make for any craving.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups (150g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (170g) mini chocolate chips (or regular chocolate chips, chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
- Beat in the egg yolk and vanilla extract until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Using a 1-teaspoon or 1.5-teaspoon scoop, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets, 1 inch apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and centers are still slightly soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
